Noah Jones - Sermon's Domain Interview: Incinerating From Coast To Coast

Rap is not a numbers game. Although young artists will argue it is, there are plenty of older artists that can still put it down as well, if not better, than the young ones. Today, we’re going to focus on one of them by the name of Noah Jones.

Noah, 32, has had a bumpy road on his road to stardom. Originally from NY, the now Cali native has been making music for over a decade now. As the age of the internet began to reign supreme, Noah switched up his hustle and started grinding hard all over the net. In 2009, he has worked with the likes of Crooked I, Nipsey Hussle, Jay Rock, Knoc-Turn’al, Glasses Malone, and countless others for his debut album, The Incinerator [Click To Preview Album]. It was released through Hoopla/Universal digitally toward the end of November. Since then, he has been rising in the industry, doing interviews weekly, features at a fast rate and working on his next few projects.

This summer will see the newest album, Cinematic. It’s an audio move build around concepts. There is one sole group, The Toy Box Crew doing the entire production. In the meantime, Noah sat down with SD to discuss the success of the album, moving from coast to coast, working with Knoc-Turn’al, being a hometown hero and much more.

Video: Tech N9ne - Ms. Drama Interview

This interview is slightly old as Ms. Drama says that K.O.D. is Tech's upcoming album. Tech referred Mariah's drunk speech, so this was more recent than I thought. He discusses the origins of the album, the negativeness of K.O.D., and more.

Nipsey Hussle - Talk About Me [Tags]

Based off the tags on this record, it seems Nipsey is working on a new tape alongside DJ Whoo Kid and DJ Scream. The Cali native channels some of that mid-west style of fast rapping to apply it on this latest track.

Boaz - One More Wish (Prod. By Black Rain)

Another soulful-like joint off Selling A Dream. Boaz's concept is pretty generic but ill at the same time. It all depends on how you develop the concept on the song. There is no such thing as a played-out concept. He pulls this one off as we pull closer to the upcoming release.
